As an older married lesbian, I will bring a diverse experience and voice to Lakewood City Council for seniors, women, and the LGBTQ+ Community. I've been the Block Captain on Baxterly Ave. for over ten years and I've been listening to my neighbors and helping direct them to resources. As a Cuyahoga County Central Committee and Executive Committee Member since 2018, I listen to my neighbors, participate in my party, and support Democrats across the county.

As a community activist, I work with the the Lakewood Chapter of the League of Women Voters of Greater Cleveland to register and educate voters. As a community activist, I work with the the Lakewood Chapter of the League of Women Voters of Greater Cleveland to register and educate voters. I work with the Board of the Cleveland Stonewall Democrats to educate candidates about the LGBTQIA+ Community and to educate voters about candidates and issues. I help raise funds on the Board of the Lakewood Family YMCA to help everyone participate regardless of their ability to pay. A proud member of the Cuyahoga Democratic Women's Caucus and the Lakewood Democratic Club, I strongly believe that everyone should join the groups that weave the fabric of our society, give purpose, and support dignity.

With a Master's Degree in Physical Education from Ohio University, I've worked for area Park and Recreation Departments and the YMCA. I've been an Umpire, Lifeguard Instructor, Pool Operator, and Playground Safety Inspector, I taught kayaking with the Cleveland Metroparks and was a Wilderness First Responder to provide medical at

I've enrolled students for college, and I was the Registrar at a local junior college for a 10 years span. Originally from N. Ridgeville, my father was a Union Steward for the Teamsters, drove trucks for 40 years, and my mother was a part time secretary and full time homemaker. I've lived in Lakewood for 25 years and been a small business owner and landlady for 24 years. I've been married to my best friend for 8 years and we've been together for 22 years.
